Red Clover | Trifolium pratense |

A sweet blossom that blankets every green meadow, this flower holds a essential place for pollinators and animals alike. Red clover is packed with antioxidants and nutrients that supports the ecosystem. To me this flower exemplifies grace and stability. This flower is a tamed flame that nurtures and soothes aches of the heart and body. Red clover sweetens the spirit with radiance, beauty, and vitality. Medicinally this flower eases inflammation as it tones and purifies the blood. For women, this herb balances hormones and relaxes the uterus especially during menses(my go to herb for the period!). It's a very nurturing and hydrating herb, and its light floral taste isn't overwhelming for the tastebuds like other flowers. Red Clover is also used for menopause symptoms which will be beneficial to a lot of older women in my family. Some menopause symptoms like hot flashes, high high cholesterol, and osteoporosis have been treated with Red Clover. This herb seems to have the most benefit to women in relieving pain and issues with reproductive health. Its a safe herb, and isn't a strong herb compared to other herbs used for women's health.
